Friends of Latton Green Information

Who we are:

FOLGA are a group of Parents, Carers and Grandparents who work together with the school to put on events in order to raise money to buy things for the school – for example playground equipment, reading prizes and things needed for Christmas. We also contribute towards things like coaches and leavers events.

What we do:

We meet on a regular basis – once a month or more often when an event is coming up, to discuss what we need to organise for the event to go ahead and run smoothly with as much profit being made as possible. We discuss what needs to be done and then we will all help with the planning, buying of the refreshments, sorting of games, volunteering at the event and helping to set up and banking of takings.

What are we fundraising for?

We are currently in discussions as to what we are raising money for this year. We would like the children to help choose something which they would like. All suggestions should be written down or drawn and given to the school office.

If you are unable to help with any of the above – then participation of going to the events is just as important, as the more children and families that come to our events, the more fundraising we can do.
